Overview
Futures with Hope is a full-day event series bringing together business, community, educators and supporters to engage with the opportunities and challenges facing young people across Tasmania.
Each event offers a unique experience—whether through insight, connection or celebration, while collectively supporting the work of Teen Challenge Tasmania.
You are invited to attend one event or make a day of it and be part of the full experience.
The Events
Economic Breakfast
7:00am – 9:00am
Start the day with perspective and insight.
This corporate-style breakfast will explore the economic landscape following the State Budget, with key speakers unpacking what it means for workforce development, education and youth outcomes in Tasmania.

Delicious cooked & continental breakfast buffet
Guest speakers & discussion
Networking with business and community leaders

Ladies Long Table Lunch
12:00pm – 2:00pm
A beautifully curated long table experience designed to connect and inspire.
Hear from a local speaker on the power of mentoring and the role each of us can play in strengthening community and opportunity for young people.
Includes:
Grazing-style lunch with sweet and savoury selections
Non-alcoholic bubbles on arrival
Silent auction table
Special raffle prize: Thermomix giveaway

Mocktail Party
6:30pm – 8:30pm
A vibrant, op shop–themed celebration to close the day.
Dress up, connect and enjoy a high-energy evening that celebrates the impact of the past year and looks ahead to what’s next.

Why It Matters
Teen Challenge Tasmania works with hundreds of young people locally each year, with thousands more reached through education and prevention programs.
From mentoring and education to initiatives like “Our Place”, a safe after-school space in Launceston CBD, our focus is on building connection, resilience and pathways forward for young people.
Futures with Hope also supports our Hope Building Fund, securing a long-term home for these programs, ensuring sustainability and growth despite the challenges not-for-profits face in accessing traditional lending.
