A Benevolent Organisation

Teen Challenge Tasmania Inc is a benevolent organisation. Each Australian Teen Challenge centre runs independently both financially and operationally of Global Teen Challenge and each other. We therefore rely mainly on the generous donations, funding and volunteer efforts of both individuals and organisations throughout our communities in order to offer our services at a minimal cost to the individual.

It is the belief of Teen Challenge that community involvement and support is an essential component of recovery to drug affected youth and necessary in providing services that address the specific needs of the communities involved.

Teen Challenge Tasmania Inc is recognised as a public benevolent institution under Australia Tax legislation.

Ways You Can Help Teen Challenge Tasmania

Teen Challenge Tasmania empowers young people to overcome addiction, disengagement, learning difficulties and disadvantage—providing hope, purpose and real-life opportunities through mentoring, education and enterprise.

Whether you're a business, individual, school or church, there’s a way you can help. Not all support needs to be financial—your time, influence and creativity can be just as powerful.
